MICHAEL MANLEY d1997. Jamaican politician who served as the fourth PM of Jamaica from 1972 to 1980 and from 1989 to 1992. According to opinion polls, he remains one of Jamaica's most popular prime ministers. He died in Kingston aged 72 on March 6th 1997
