MISS WORLD 1983. The 33rd edition of the Miss World pageant was held on 17th November 1983 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The winner was Sarah-Jane Hutt from the United Kingdom. She was crowned by Miss World 1982 (Mariasela Álvarez) of the Dominican Republic. First runner-up was Rocío Isabel Luna (Colombia) and second runner-up was Cátia Pedrosa from Brazil

An original vintage "Miss World 1983 Variety Club Charity Luncheon" programme WITH original Grosvenor House Hotel entrance ticket, clearly signed on the inside cover in ink by (7) of the beauty contestants ; Esther Farmer (Trinidad) / Eva Tornquist (Sweden) / Maria Sando (New Zealand) / Lidia Wasiak (Poland) / Milagros Perez (Spain) / Mayra Rojas (Mexico) and later the 3rd placed Catia Pedrosa (Brazil) who sadly died at the age of 55 in 2018
