ERIC MORECAMBE AND ERNIE WISE. Legendary and much-loved British comedy duo who forever will be remembered for their classic BBC TV shows of the 1970s. Eric Morecambe died of a heart attack aged 58 on 28th May 1984. Ernie Wise died of heart failure on 21st March 1999 aged 73.
