From the wonderful Michael Pinchbeck collection. This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Date notation is February 1972. MUAMMAR GADDAFI d2011. Libyan revolutionary, politician and political theorist. He was the de facto leader of Libya from 1969 to 2011. First as the Revolutionary Chairman of the Libyan Arab Republic from 1969 to 1977 and then as the "Brotherly Leader" of the Great Socialist Jamahiriya from 1977 to 2011. Initially ideologically committed to Arab Nationalism and Socialism, he later ruled according to his own Third International Theory. He died aged 69 on October 20th 2011
