A rare original vintage 1965 index card, clearly handwritten, dedicated (To Michael) and signed in ink by Nick Adams


From the wonderful Michael Pinchbeck collection. This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Date notation is February 1965. Nick Adams

NICK ADAMS d1968. American film and television actor and screenwriter. He was noted for his roles in several Hollywood films during the 1950s and 1960s along with his starring role in the ABC television series The Rebel (1959–1961). He had widely publicized friendships with both James Dean and Elvis Presley which later stirred speculation about his private life and the circumstances of his death. In an All-Movie synopsis for his last film, reviewer Dan Pavlides wrote ; "Plagued by personal excesses, he will be remembered just as much for what he could have done in cinema as what he left behind.". His death in Beverly Hills on February 7th 1968 of a drug overdose at the age of just 36 remains a mystery and subject of much speculation
