Pamela Brown

PAMELA BROWN d1975. English stage and film actress. Her three early roles of her early film roles were in Powell and Pressburger films ; One of Our Aircraft Is Missing (1942)  / I Know Where I'm Going (1945) and The Tales of Hoffman (1951). Despite arthritis reducing her mobility and making stage work difficult, her success in film continued as Jane Shore in Richard III (1955) / Lust For Life (1956) / Cleopatra (1963) / Becket (1964) and A Funny Thing Happened on The Way To The Forum (1966). She died of cancer aged 58 on December 19th 1975.
