Peter Cushing

PETER CUSHING d1994. English actor known for his many appearances in the famous Hammer Horror films of the 1960-70s. He will be best remembered for playing the distinguished-looking but sinister scientist Baron Frankenstein and the vampire hunter Dr Van Helsing amongst many other roles. He often appeared opposite Christopher Lee and Vincent Price. He died of prostrate cancer in Kent aged 81 on August 11th 1994. In 2016, his likeness was digitally repurposed to allow the character of Tarkin to appear in Rogue One. A Star Wars Story.
