All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. About Peter Finch

PETER FINCH d1977. British-born Australian actor and the winner of five BAFTAs and a Golden Globe for best actor. He is however probably best remembered for his role as "crazed" television anchorman Howard Beale in Network (1976) which earned him a posthumous Academy Award. In a distinquished career other notable films include ; A Town Like Alice (1956) / The Battle of River Plate (1956) / The Nuns Story (1959) / The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960) / No Love for Johnnie (1961) / Pumpkin Eater (1964) / Far from The Madding Crowd (1967) and Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971). Three times married, he died aged 60 after suffering a heart attack in the lobby of The Beverly Hills Hotel in 1977
