PETER PAUL AND MARY. American folk trio who ultimately became one of the biggest acts of the 1960s, best known for classic hits including ; Puff The Magic Dragon (1963) / Blowing In The Wind (1963) and the worldwide No1 "Leaving On A Jet Plane" written by John Denver. The trio consisted of Peter Yarrow / Paul Stookey and Mary Travers who died of cancer in 2009.
