PHIL SILVERS d1985. American entertainer and comedy actor known as "The King of Chutzpah" who will forever be remembered for starring in the classic 1950s TV sitcom "Sergeant Bilko". He suffered a stroke in 1972 which restricted his appearances. He died of a heart attack aged 74 in 1985
