This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Date notation for this item is 1953. A superb collection of autographs. The autographs of Liz Gebhardt / Malcolm McFee / David Barry and Peter Denyer are very rarely on a pair of original vintage 1960s autograph book pages ; they have added their character names and all have dedicated To Sharon. Noel Howlett is also a very hard to find autograph

Description:

A set of (4) cast signatures on a visitors book page and a card ; David Barry (Frankie Abbott) / Peter Cleall (Eric Duffy) / Peter Denyer d2009 (Dennis Dunstable) and Malcolm McFee d2001 (Peter Craven).

The visitors book is dated by all 30th March 1974 and include amusing notations by all three ; Peter Cleall (I agree with the chap who agreed with the chap who agreed with Shirley Bassey) / David Barry (Kingston Surrey opposite the chip shop) / Malcolm McFee (Any thoughts of Ringo?)

Please Sir

PLEASE SIR. LWT TV comedy series which ran for 55 episodes between 1968-72. It later spawned The Fenn Street Gang between 1971-73. The programme was set in the fictional Fenn Street school and starred John Alderton as Bernard Hedges, a young teacher fresh out of training college. The supporting cast included Deryck Guyler, Joan Sanderson and Richard Davies. The students of class 5C were played by David Barry (Frankie Abbott) / Peter Cleall (Eric Duffy) / Peter Denyer (Dennis Dunstable) / Liz Gebhardt (Maureen Bullock) / Malcolm McFee (Peter Craven) and Penny Spencer & Carol Hawkins (Sharon Eversleigh).
