Poets

Poets
THE POETS. Scottish blues, freakbeat and psychedelic pop band managed and produced by the Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham. Some of their singles were released on the Small Faces Immediate Records label, including their cover of "Baby Don't Do It" which was produced at the time by an in-house producer one Paul Raven (Gary Glitter). Their 1964 single "Now We're Thru'" was a UK No31 hit, however later singles were not chart successes outside of Scotland and no full album was ever completed.
