QUEEN. Ever popular British group that has enjoyed worldwide success since the early 1970s, selling in excess of 300 million records. Despite the sad loss of the legendary Freddie Mercury (who died on 24th November 1991 aged 45) and the retirement of bassist John Deacon, the remaining original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor continue to tour today. A chance meeting in 2004 with Bad Co / Free singer Paul Rodgers, led to him joining for well received recent World Tours and a new LP "Cosmos Rocks" in 2008 which reached No5 in the charts. Their extraordinary music portfolio and the success of their stage production "We Will Rock You" will ensure that they will remain one of the most popular bands ever in popular music ...
