Richard Beckinsale

RICHARD BECKINSALE d1979. Popular British actor of the 1970s, best known for his roles as Lennie Godber in the classic BBC TV sitcom Porridge with Ronnie Barker and Alan Moore in the ITV sitcom Rising Damp with Leonard Rossiter. Richard Beckinsale sadly died of a shock heart attack aged just 31 in 1979. He is the father of actresses Samantha and Kate Beckinsale.
