About Rikky Von Opel
RIKKY VON OPEL autograph. Formula 1 racing driver from Liechtenstein and the only driver from that nation to have so far ever competed in the Formula One World Championship. The son of Fritz Von Opel and great-grandson of Adam Opel the founder of the German car maker Opel. After winning the Lombard North British F3 Championship in 1972, he went onto participate in 14 F1 GPs (for the Ensign & Brabham teams) in the 1973-4 season. He scored no championship points.
