Riot Squad

Riot Squad

THE RIOT SQUAD. British group from London active between 1965-67 initially managed and produced by Larry Page and later for their reunion by the legendary Joe Meek. Despite releasing seven singles during this period none made the charts and they are now probably most famous for assisting with the future careers of famous artists including drummer Mitch Mitchell (who joined the Jimi Hendrix Experience) and in 1967 David Bowie. The only constant member being Bob Evans (saxophone) who after the band split for the first time, "reunited" The Riot Squad with all new musicians.
