Roddy McDowall

RODDY MCDOWALL d1998. English-born actor and photographer. His long career began aged 12 in Hollywood in How Green Was My Valley (1941) and Lassie Come Home (1943). He is however probably best known as Cornelius and Caesar in the Planet Of The Apes film series of the 1970s. He died of lung cancer aged 70 in 1998.

An original vintage (cut signature on card) neatly laid down onto an autograph book page, clearly signed in ink by Roddy McDowall.



One of a superb collection of autographs all obtained by Phyllis Baker who worked for Warner Bros as an usherette at The Odeon Leicester Square London between 1938 and 1958. Includes a short typed email detailing the history from her family and a copy of a photograph of her actually working in the cinema. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA.
