Description:

1) SID JAMES autograph d1976. South African British-based TV & Film actor, best known for appearing in nineteen Carry On Films from 1959 ; almost always playing his trademark wise-cracking, sly lecherous character. His career began in 1951 with The Lavender Hill Mob. He worked with Tony Hancock in Hancocks Half Hour from 1954 and then later (during the 1960s-70s) in the successful TV comedy Bless This House. He died aged 62 as a result of a heart attack suffered during a performance of The Mating Season at The Sunderland Empire.

2) ERIC MORECAMBE autograph d1984. English comedian who along with Ernie Wise formed the award winning double act Morecambe and Wise. The partnership lasted from 1941 until Morecambe's death from a heart attack aged 58 in 1984. Eric Morecambe took his stage name from his home town. At its peak in the 1970s, their Christmas episodes gained UK viewing figures of over twenty-eight million people.

A rare original (circa 1970s) autograph book page, clearly signed and dedicated (To Liam) in ballpoints by both Sid James and Eric Morecambe.
