SMALL FACES. Acclaimed English mod-rock group (first formed in 1965) known for a string of hit singles ; "Shalalalalee" UK No3 (1966) / "All Or Nothing" UK No1 (1966) / "Itchycoo Park" UK No3 (1967) / "Lazy Sunday" UK No2 (1968). Original group member James Winston was sacked from the group in October1965, due to musical differences and replaced by Ian Maclagan. The Small Faces officially split in 1969, with all group members enjoying later individual success. Steve Marriott died in a freak fire accident at home in 1991. Ronnie Lane of pneumonia brought on by his MS in 1997. Ian McLagan aged 69 in 2014 following a stroke..
