STEVE McQUEEN d1980. Legendary Academy Award winning American Actor nicknamed "The King of Cool". His famous combatative anti-hero persona made him one of the top box office actors of his generation. His best known film roles include ; "The Magnificent Seven" (1960) / "The Great Escape" (1963) / "Bullitt" (1968) and "Le Mans" (1971). He was married three times, but his greatest passions were all speed related ; being a huge classic motorcycle collector and enthusiastic racecar and motorsport competitor. He died aged just 50 following surgery for two heart attacks. Steve McQueen remains to this day one of Hollywoods biggest ever movie stars.
