STIRLING MOSS / ROB WALKER and JACK FAIRMAN autographs. The Rob Walker Racing Team entered the first ever Four Wheel Drive Formula 1 car at the 1961 British Grand Prix. The car in question was the experimental Ferguson P99 designed by Ferguson Research. Unfortunately for original driver Jack Fairman, his RWR team-leader Stirling Moss suffered brake failure in his own Lotus 18 and took over the Ferguson 4WD machine instead. Moss was then later disqualified for receiving a push start .... This was to sadly become the last GP on home soil for local hero Stirling Moss whose career was ended by a serious accident in a non championship race the following year .......
