THOMPSON TWINS. British synthpop group active between 1977-1993 who enjoyed success in the UK and USA. They are best known for their 1980s hit singles ; "Love on Your Side" / "Hold me Now" / "Doctor Doctor" / "You Take Me Up" and the acclaimed 1984 LP "Into the Gap" (which sold 5 million copies worldwide).
