An original vintage 1961 promo-postcard, clearly signed in ink by Tony Brooks


From the wonderful Michael Pinchbeck collection. This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Tony Brooks

TONY BROOKS. British racing-driver known as the "racing dentist". He participated in 39 F1 World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 14th July 1956. He achieved 6 wins / 10 podium finishes and 75 career points. He was third in the World Drivers' Championship in 1958 and second in 1959. He also scored the first win by a British driver in a British car in a Grand Prix since 1923, driving a Connaught at Syracuse in 1955 in a non-championship race
