TRAFFIC. English rock band with distinctive improvised sound active between 1967-1974. The various group members having strong associations with many successful acts including ; Spencer Davis Group / Blind Faith / Free / Jimi Hendrix and John Martyn. Chris Wood died of pneumonia aged just 39 in 1983 brought on by many years battling alcohol and drug addiction. Jim Capaldi died of stomach cancer aged 60 in 2005.
