Ultravox

Ultravox

ULTRAVOX. British New Wave electronic pop-rock band best known for their worldwide hit "Vienna" in 1980. The original leader of the group was John Foxx who left the band in 1979 to embark on his own solo career. Following his departure ex Slik member Midge Ure took over as lead-singer, guitarist and his new influence helped steer the band to commercial success. Ure left the band in 1987 after establishing his own solo-career and the group disbanded for a while. In 2008 they reformed and have since again toured together.
