From the wonderful Michael Pinchbeck collection. This amazing collection consisted of over 2000+ music / entertainment / sport / politics & pioneers autographs on index cards / books / letters & photographs. All obtained in-person and through the post by him for 50+ years between the 1950s-1990s. The majority are dedicated to him and date stamped. As part of his archiving, there are numerous letters that help support the history and provenance of his lifetime dedication to the hobby of autograph collecting. Date notation is November 26th 1969. V V Giri

V V GIRI d1980. Indian politician and activist who served as the fourth President of India from the 24th August 1969 to 24th August 1974 and the third Vice President of India from 13th May 1967 to 3rd May 1969. He was the only president to be elected as an independent candidate. After the end of his full term, he was honoured by the government with the Bharat Ratna in 1975. He died in Madras aged 85 on June 24th 1980
