Vincent Price

VINCENT PRICE d1993. American horror-film actor known for his sinister distinctive voice and serio-comic attitude. He enjoyed a long career after his first lead role in The Invisible Man Returns (1940). He then appeared for over four decades in many classic horror films into the 1980s including ; The House Of Wax (1953) / The Fly (1958) / House On Haunted Hill (1959) / The Abomiable Dr Phibes (1971) and The Hammer House Of Horror series (through the 1960-70s). A lifelong smoker, he died of lung-cancer aged 82 in 1993
