WALT HANSGEN d1966. American racing driver who participated in two Formula 1 Grand Prix making his debut on October 8th 1961 at Watkins Glen. He scored a total of two championship points. He died in an accident aged 46 on April 3rd 1966 whilst testing in the rain in a Ford GT40 for the Le Mans 24 hours
