WILLIE NELSON. American country singer-songwriter, author, poet and activist. He reached his greatest fame during the outlaw country movement of the 1970s and remains to this day an icon of American popular culture. Now in his 80s, he still continues to tour performing in concerts and fundraisers with other major musicians including Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
