Description

JACK NICKLAUS autograph. American professional golfer nicknamed "The Golden Bear". He is widely regarded as the most accomplished professional golfer of all time. Winning a total of 18 career major championships with 19 second place and 9 third place finishes over a span of 25 years. After winning two US Amateurs in 1959 and 1961 and challenging for the 1960 US Open he turned professional toward the end of 1961. The 1962 US Open was both Nicklaus' first major championship victory and his first professional win. This win over Arnold Palmer began the on-course rivalry between the two. In 1966, Nicklaus won the Masters Tournament for the second year in a row, becoming the first golfer to achieve this. He also won The Open Championship, completing his career slam of major championships. At age 26, he became the youngest to do so at the time. In 1968 and 1969, Nicklaus did not win a major tournament. He then won another Open Championship in 1970. Between 1971-1980, he would win a further nine major championships, overtake Bobby Jones record of 13 majors and become the first player to complete double and triple career slams of golf's four professional major championships. At the age of 46, he claimed his 18th and final major championship at the 1986 Masters, becoming that championship's oldest winner. He joined the Senior PGA Tour in January 1990, when he became eligible and by April 1996 had won 10 of the tour's tournaments. He continued to play at least some of the four regular Tour majors until 2005, when he made his final appearances at The Open Championship and the Masters Tournament.

BILLY CASPER autograph. American professional golfer and one of the most prolific tournament winners on the PGA Tour (51 Wins) during the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s. Winner of The Masters (1970) and twice winner of the US Open (1959 & 1966).

PETER ALLISS autograph. English professional golfer, BBC TV presenter and commentator, author and golf course designer. He is latterly known for his charismatic and unique style of commentary, often displaying a witty demeanour. Since the death of Henry Longhurst in 1978, he has been regarded by many as the "Voice of (British) Golf". In December 2011, he was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame in the Lifetime Achievement category.
