STRAY CATS. American rockabilly band first formed in Massapequa New York in 1979. The group had numerous hit singles in the UK, Australia, Canada and the US including ; "Rock This Town" (1981 UK No9) / "Stray Cat Strut" (1981 UK No11) and "Shes Sexy +17" (1983 UK No29). The group has split and reformed on a number of occasions over the years. Rock This Town is listed by The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the 500 most important songs in the history of rock and roll.
