American vocal group known for their success with Motown Records during the 1960s and 1970s with a string of hits including ; My Girl (1965) / I Know I'm Losing You (1966) / All I Need (1966) / I Wish It Would Rain (1967) / I'm Gonna Make You Love Me (1968) / I Can't Get Next To You (1969) / Just My Imagination (1971) and Papa Was A Rolling Stone (1972). They are also remembered for their choreography, distinct harmonies and flashy wardrobe. Over the course of their career, the Temptations have released four Billboard Hot 100 No1 singles and fourteen R&B No1 singles. Their material has earned them three Grammy Awards.
