Description
A superb double-sided handwritten letter in ink on Ipswich Town FC headed paper dated 6th March 1961. There is great content within the letter , including a mention of an Easter match against Middlesborough , their poor position in the league , money and the lowest gates of his six seasons in charge. Clearly signed at the conclusion "Kind Regards Yours Sincerely Alf Ramsey" and then a PS initialled "A.R".
Five years later his fortunes would change, when as manager of England he won the 1966 World Cup
