Chants
Chants
THE CHANTS. British R&B harmony group of the early 1960s from Liverpool. With producer Tony Hatch writing their arrangements, they were often supported on-stage by some of the biggest future stars from the city including The Beatles on several occasions. Despite being popular locally, they never managed to chart a single, but did make some fine now collectable records including ; "I Could Write a Book" / "Come Go with Me" and "She's Mine." They broke up in the mid 1960s and Eddie Amoo went onto later success during the 1970s disco boom with The Real Thing.
