Charles Frend

CHARLES FREND d1977. English film director and editor best known for his films produced at Ealing Studios. He began directing in the early 1940s and is known for films including ; Scott of the Antarctic (1948) and The Cruel Sea (1953). He died in London aged 68 on January 8th 1977
