A very good original vintage circa 1959 autograph book page, clearly signed and dedicated (To Rosemarie Love) in ink by Charlie Gracie.

Certification:

From an autograph book collected by Rosemary Dent who was the Stage Manager at the New Theatre in Cambridge. Some signatures in the book are dedicated to her. The vendor remembered she also travelled the country managing single-night live shows for the ABC cinema chain. The book contained many well-known entertainers and musicians of the period (which mostly date between 1952-1960) and it also includes poems & signatures of friends that are so often found in autograph books of this period.  AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA

CHARLIE GRACIE. Early American rock n roll pioneer best known for his 1956 US No1 hit "Butterfly" on the fledgling Cameo record label. He went onto tour with Chuck Berry / Everly Brothers / Bo Diddley and his friend Eddie Cochran, bringing the new art form to the UK to rave reviews in 1957-1958.
