David Niven

DAVID NIVEN d1983. Prolific English Academy Award winning actor and writer best known for his role as Phileas Fogg in "Around The World in 80 Days" (1956). His other most notable films include ; The Guns of Navarone (1961) / The Pink Panther (1963) and Separate Tables (1958) for which he won a Best Actor Oscar. His 1971 autobiography "The Moons a Balloon" was very well received and sold over five million copies. He suffered with poor health in his latter years and died in 1983 aged 73 from ALS.
