From the outstanding & huge autograph collection of Jean Williams of Chelsea, all obtained in and around the London Theatres / London Hotels (The Dorchester / The Savoy) / the BBC Riverside Studios and ITV TV Studios from the late 1950s into the mid 1970s. Including (amongst others) such notables as ; John Lennon / Marlon Brando / Steve McQueen / Sharon Tate / Lee Van Cleef / Ringo Starr and Natalie Wood. Most of the signatures in the collection are dedicated to her by the celebrity and then annotated and dated in her hand. This Edward G Robinson autograph is dated 16th October 1966. About Edward G Robinson

EDWARD G ROBINSON d1973. Romanian born American actor and a popular star of Hollywoods Golden age. He is best remembered for his roles playing gangsters such as Rico in Little Caesar (1931) and Rocco in Key Largo (1948) ; other memorable performances include Barton Keyes in the film noir Double Indemnity (1944) and as Dathan in The Ten Commandments (1956). Robinson was selected for an Honorary Academy Award for his general work within the film industry ; this was posthumously given two months after the actor's death from cancer aged 79 in 1973. He is included in the AFIs list of the 25 greatest ever male stars of American cinema.
