EDDIE FISHER d2010. American singer and entertainer. An early teen-idol and of the world's most successful singers of the 1950s, selling millions of records and the host of his own TV show. His quick-fire divorce from his first wife Debbie Reynolds, in order to marry his best friend Mike Todds widow Elizabeth Taylor in 1959, garnered scandalous and much unwelcome publicity at the time. They too divorced in 1964. He died aged 82 in 2010 following a hip operation.
Certification: | The LP was signed in person for Libby when she was in a London hospital circa 1960-61. Eddie Fisher used to visit another of the patients she had befriended during her stay. There is a typed letter further detailing the history included. We will also include the rest of the LP cover and the record. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA. |
