He was a frequent concert-goer and well-known writer / contributor for The Jazz Journal from the 1950s, corresponding regularily with some of the best known artists of the period. Many of the notes and autographs are dedicated to him. Includes a recent typed letter from a family member, further detailing the known history of his collecting.
