A wonderful rare collection of eight autographs of major members of the party clearly signed in ink on various 1950s autograph book pages ; Sir Edmund Hillary (E P Hillary) d2008 / Lord John Hunt KG CBE DSO d1998 (expedition leader) X2 / Tom Bourdillon d1956 (oxygen apparatus pioneer) / George Lowe OBE (climber) / Michael Westmacott (climber first man down on ascent) / Charles Wylie OBE (secretary and photographer) and Michael Ward CBE (climber and chief medical officer) ALSO the very sought after signature of Sherpa Tenzing Norgay GM d1986 on his own Bengal printed stationary card ; Tenzing has signed his name in ballpoint and an unknown has added above "with best wishes to Martin from ...."
