Flowerpot Men

Flowerpot Men
THE FLOWERPOT MEN. British group created in 1967 by John Carter and Ken Lewis of The Ivy League as a result of the chart success of the single "Lets Go To San Francisco" written and recorded by them. However when the song unexpectantly reached No4 in the UK charts, they did not wish to promote it themselves and put together a select group of session musicians to go on tour. The group later evolved into White Plains who scored a huge hit with "My Baby Loves Loving" in 1970
