George Michael

GEORGE MICHAEL d2016. English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer who rose to superstardom during the 1980s with Wham and in the 1990s as a solo-artist. His 1987 debut solo album, Faith sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. He has garnered seven No1 singles in the UK and eight No1s in the USA and as of 2010 had sold over 100million records. The winner of numerous music awards including ; Three Brit-Awards / Four MTV Awards / Four Ivor Novellos and Two Grammys. In 2004, the Radio-Academy named him as the most played artist on British radio between 1984–2004. In 2006, George Michael announced his first tour in 15 years, the worldwide 25 Live. George Michael was found dead of a suspected heart attack at his home in Oxfordshire aged just 53 on Christmas Day 2016.
