HIPSTER IMAGE. English Mod-Band of the mid 1960s discovered by the then Animals manager Mike Jeffries. The B-Side "Make Her Mine" on their only single (produced by Alan Price) failed to chart, but is acknowledged as a classic amongst record collectors. Despite a break or two the group were unable to sustain itself and split in 1967. Their vocalist Colin Cooper later joined the Climax Blues Band.

A rare original 1965 autograph book page, clearly signed in ballpoints by all five group members ; Colin Cooper d2008 (vocals / sax) / Eric Leese (organ) / Keith Webb d2007 (drums) / Franklin D Proud and Dirk Durkin.
On the reverse of this and on various other pages are the autographs of six members of the Dawnbreakers including ; Pete Dean / Rod Brooks / Barry Mills and Johnny Burns plus two.
