A wonderful original typed letter on embossed watermarked FBI (Office of The Director) headed paper, dated November 29th 1947 to Brigadier General Hayes Kroner of Washington DC.
"My Dear General, My Guy Hottel, special agent in charge of the Washington Field Division of this bureau, has advised me of your very kind assistance in a recent investigation by this office. I wanted you to know that I sincerely appreciate your cooperation with this bureau. With best wishes and kind regards, sincerely yours". The letter is signed at the conclusion in ink by J Edgar Hoover. ALSO INCLUDED is the original FBI mailing envelope sent from Washington DC on November 30th 1947.
