Jack Bruce

JACK BRUCE d2014. Scottish musician and singer-songwriter. Widely respected for his powerfully distinctive evocative voice, as a founding member of the British rock-band Cream and as a World-Class pioneer of the bass guitar. His later solo-career and work has spanned several decades and includes participation in several well-known musical ensembles.... Jack Bruce died of liver disease aged 71 in October 2014.

A good original 1967 autograph book page, clearly signed in black pen by Jack Bruce.

 

Certification:

From a wonderful music autograph collection obtained by Susan B in and around the Leeds area during 1965-1967 (mostly at The Queens Hall Leeds). Many are dedicated to her with annotated places and dates. Collectors notation for this page is the Queens Hall Leeds February 3rd 1967. The Queen's Hall Leeds was originally a tram shed that played host to a varied collection of events until it was demolished in 1989. The massive site (at the junction of Sovereign Street and Swinegate) is nowadays a car park. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA.
