JOAN FONTAINE d2013. Japanese-born British-American actress. She was best known for her starring roles in cinema during the Classical Hollywood era. She appeared in more than 45 feature films in a career that spanned five decades. She was the younger sister of actress Olivia de Havilland. She died in California aged 96 on December 15th 2013
