LESLIE DWYER d1986. English actor best known for his role as the Punch and Judy man (Mr Partridge) in BBC sitcom Hi-de-Hi. Film roles included ; In Which We Serve (1942) / The Way Ahead (1944) / the 1952 remake of Hindle Wakes / Act of Love (1953) in which he played a two hander scene opposite the young Brigitte Bardot / Room in the House (1955) / the 1959 remake of Hitchcock's The 39 Steps and Die Monster Die (1966)
