Mickey Rooney

MICKEY ROONEY d2014. American actor whose film, television and stage appearances spanned his entire life. The winner of multiple awards (most notably two Golden Globes and an Emmy). He worked as a performer since early childhood ; becoming a teenage superstar for the films in which he played Andy Hardy. He enjoyed one of the longest careers of any actor (spanning 90 years) and actively making films in ten decades through from the1920s to the 2010s. His most notable credits include ; Babes in Arms (1939) / Human Comedy (1943) / Bold & The Brave (1956) / Baby Face Nelson (1957) / Mickey (1964) / Black Stallion (1980) and Bill (1981). Married eight times, he died in Los Angeles aged 93 on April 6th 2014 surrounded by his family.
