Osmonds
Reference Number. 5418
Description
A rare early vintage 1970-71 autograph book page, clearly signed in black ink by all five brothers from the original group lineup ; Alan Osmond / Wayne / Merrill / Jay and Donny
Double mounted for fine display with photographs and original sheet music to "Love Me For A Reason".
Certification: | The Osmond Brothers were regular performers on The Andy Williams Show between 1962-1969 and on The Jerry Lewis Show in 1969. Young Donny (born 1957) started to appear with his brothers during this time. Their big break came when they signed to MGM records and scored a debut No1 hit in 1971 with "One Bad Apple" with Donny just 14 years old ; hence the still child-like handwriting of Donny on this particularily early circa 1971 page of autographs. Collectors notation reads Buddy George IP Collection. UACC RD R&R USA. AFTAL Dealer No13 and UACC RD Memorabilia UK COA. |
